Ferne McCann has had a nose job.
The 26-year-old reality TV star is set to reveal her new look on ITV’s ‘This Morning’ on Monday (15.08.16) after she recently underwent the operation to transform her snout.
Explaining her reasons for having the operation, Ferne said: "I’m not getting it done because I want to get closer to being beautiful. It’s not about that.
"It’s just something that I don’t like, and every day I look in the mirror, it knocks my confidence…"
The brunchtime show will also show the former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star discussing her operation with This Morning’s counsellor Penny Jordan and surgeon James Frame.
She said: "There’ll be a lot of people that understand why I’m doing it and a lot of people that won’t.
"I don’t want to upset my mum and that’s what makes me really emotional… but she really understands now."
Viewers will then be shown pre-recorded footage of Ferne and her mother Gill embracing each other at the hospital ahead of her surgery, which took place a few weeks ago, before she’ll waltz into the studio to show off her new nose.
Meanwhile, Ferne has made no secret of the fact she wanted to transform her hooter but admitted in the past that she was torn between getting it surgically corrected and leaving it as it is in order to send a positive message out to young girls.
She said at the time: "I’d love to get it done and for no one to say anything. I wish I’d got it done ages ago. One day I’ll talk myself into it, and the next day I’m like, I want to be this advocate for girls to look at and think, ‘She’s real – she hasn’t given into the pressure of having work done.’ "
