Ferne McCann has bought her first home.
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star – who is pregnant with her first child – can’t believe she’s now a homeowner and has admitted she feels slightly freaked out that she’s responsible for her own property and will be living on her own for a while.
Speaking on Snapchat, she said: "Today’s location is my new flat. So we’re all here and I’m like: ‘This is mine!’ I’m a home owner now, it’s really scary stuff."
The blonde beauty currently lives at her mother’s home but hopes she will move in with her once the baby arrives later this year because she’ll need all the help she can get.
She told OK! magazine: "I’ll need my mum’s help and support. I think all the getting up in the night is just part and parcel of having a baby. I’ll be prepared for sleep deprivation. I will have her move in with me for a week at least. She doesn’t know that yet!"
Ferne has decided to raise her baby as a single mother after her boyfriend Arthur Collins – the father of her tot – was arrested and is now due to stand trial for grievous bodily harm in October over an acid attack at East London club Mangle on April 16.
She explained: "I thoroughly intend to bring up my baby as a single mum like many other women have done. And I will do my best for this baby."
Ferne still has a little while to go until she’s due to give birth but she’s already decided that she will be taking her bundle of joy to work with her once it gets a bit older.
She added: "My midwife said you need to dedicate three weeks if you want to get into a routine if you want to breastfeed. I don’t want to give up work and I’m in an industry where you can take your baby to work."
