Fergie: Josh’s breastfeeding jokes inspired M.I.L.F. $

Fergie has credited her husband Josh Duhamel for inspiring the lyrics to her song ‘M.I.L.F. $’ with his breastfeeding jokes.
The 41-year-old singer dropped her single in July which includes lyrics empowering mothers to be naughty and fun and several milk puns such as "heard you in the mood for a little MILFshake / Welcome to the Dairy Dutchess Love Factory".
Fergie says her actor spouse was responsible for the cheeky words because when she was nursing their almost three-year-old son Axl he would always make milk-related gags.
Speaking to the new issue of NME magazine, she revealed: "When I was breastfeeding, my husband would come in and say, ‘The milkman is here!’ That helped with the lyrics because all these different milk puns would come into my head. Like the club in the video is called ‘M.I.L.F. Shakes’.
"When I was first pregnant I was working with the producer Polow Da Don on a 2 Chainz track called ‘Netflix’ and Polow crawled in my head and said, ‘Fergie, you’re gonna change people’s views of artists who have babies.’ I’d never thought of that before, so ‘M.I.L.F. $’ is my way of doing that with a quirky sense of humour … This song has been marinating for about three-and-a-half years."
The promo for ‘M.I.L.F. $’ was extremely sexy and showed Fergie along with other lingerie-clad hot moms Kim Kardashian West, Chrissy Teigen, Alessandra Ambrosio, Ciara, Gemma Ward, Tara Lynn, Devon Aoki, Angela Lindvall, Isabeli Fontana, Amber Valletta and Natasha Poly all seductively being soaked in milk.
Black Eyed Peas star Fergie insists everyone involved was cool with being drenched in dairy and says there is enough extra footage for each woman to have their own "spin-off video".
She said: "I’m no working on some spin-off videos. We shot so much footage each girl could have their own video. The video was a blast to shoot, it was like a girls’ weekend out."
Fergie’s second solo album ‘Double Dutchess’ is due out later this year.
