Fadi Fawaz misses George Michael "so much".
The 44-year-old has paid tribute to his late boyfriend – who passed away on Christmas Day in 2016 at his home in Goring-on-Thames, England – with a poignant message on social media.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote: "Today was the last time I saw your beautiful face looking like an angel. I miss you so much my beautiful man George. Fadi xxx (sic)"
Fadi – who was dating George for seven years until his sad death – previously revealed he will "never" love again after George’s passing.
He said: "There will never be anyone ever again, that is the truth … I can’t stand all the Christmas trees or lights around London. It makes me so sad … I will be spending Christmas in the countryside with some friends. I just want it over and done with."
Not only has Fadi vowed never to love again, he also promised not to speak of George’s death any more because he doesn’t want to suffer "another wound" by remembering the "worst day of [his] life".
He explained: "I don’t think I want another wound in my body. I don’t see the point in telling the worst day of my life to the world. George was one of a kind, I have lost a unique man."
Fadi had previously penned a poem about the day he discovered the singer dead at home on Christmas Day.
The first verse reads: "One Christmas day/ Clouds are Grey/ Wind tears the air/ One heart decides to fail/ I find myself in hell/ Now I feel ashamed/ one Christmas day (sic)"
He captioned the post: "Something I wrote today. To ease the day."
