Ezra Miller’s The Flash appears in Suicide Squad

The Flash makes an appearance in the ‘Suicide Squad’ film.
Super-fast superhero Barry Allen – played by Ezra Miller – has a cameo opposite the team of DC Comics supervillains who are assembled by a secret government agency led by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) to carry out a dangerous black ops mission.
The Flash’s appearance was leaked in the press notes handed out to media at critics screenings held by Warner Bros. Pictures this week.
As yet no details of what his role is have been leaked but it is believed that Miller was added to the star-studded cast when director David Ayer filmed his re-shoots in the spring.
This will be The Flash’s second stint in the DC Extended Universe following his two brief scenes in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’, one of which showed him in a dream sequence warning Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) that if he allows Lois Lane (Amy Adams) to be killed it will result in Superman (Henry Cavill) turning bad.
The character will make his first appearance as a lead character in the ‘Justice League’ film which will be released in November 2017.
It has long been known that Affleck would be appearing as Batman in ‘Suicide Squad’ following a reveal of his character in a trailer, however, the 43-year-old actor’s name does not feature in the press notes.
The squad of the title is made up of Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo and Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag.
The cast also includes Cara Delevingne as Enchantress and Jared Leto as The Joker. ‘Suicide Squad’ hits cinemas on August 5.
