Eyal Booker and Zara McDermott have been voted off of ‘Love Island’ – as 12 new contestants prepare to enter the villa.
The 22-year-old model and the 21-year-old government advisor weren’t coupled up on the ITV2 reality show, but that didn’t stop them from getting the boot on Wednesday’s (27.06.18) episode.
It was down to the the islanders to pick which contestants left the infamous villa, after they were split into two groups – boys and girls – and asked to pick one member of the opposite team to send home.
The girls chose to get rid of Eyal, whilst the boys picked Zara.
However, the remaining islanders won’t be missing the pair for long, as a whopping 12 new contestants are set to join them during Thursday’s (28.06.18) episode.
Six new girls will be meeting the male contestants in a nearby second villa away from the others, whilst another six brand new males will be hoping to wow the female contestants back at the main villa.
It means the current islanders will no doubt be under even more pressure to impress their current partners, as the temptation to recouple with a new contestant will rise when the total number of islanders doubles to 20.
Among the new contestants is Ellie Jones, 22, who is looking to cause trouble as she is the former girlfriend of contestant Jack Fincham, who is currently coupled up with Dani Dyer, the daughter of ‘EastEnders’ actor Danny Dyer.
Ahead of going into the show, Ellie said: "I don’t know how Jack is going to react and that’s my biggest worry. I don’t know how he’ll feel when he sees me walk in. I don’t know if he’ll be angry or shocked but we do get on so hopefully it won’t be an issue."
The other new female recruits include Savanna Darnell, 22, who is the daughter of American singer Kid Creole, hairdresser Grace Wardle, 25, tanning shop assistant Charlie Williams, 24, make-up artist Kazimir Crossley, 23, and eyebrow technician Darylle Sargeant, 24.
Whilst the new males are Jordan Adefeyisan, 23, socialite Charlie Brake, 23, fitness coach Frankie Foster, 22, semi-pro footballer Jack Fowler, 22, and structural glazier Alex Miller, 28.
