Evanna Lynch among celebs taking on Dancing with the Stars

Evanna Lynch is among the stars taking part in the upcoming season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’.
The 27-year-old actress is best known for starring as Luna Lovegood in the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise, but she’ll be swapping her wand for dancing shoes later this month, as she’s been announced as one of the stars who will take to the dance floor for season 27 of the ABC talent competition, which kicks off on September 24.
The full line-up of celebrities was announced on Wednesday (12.09.18) during ‘Good Morning America’, and includes Evanna – who will be paired with Keo Motsepe – alongside a host of other famous faces.
Instagram model Alexis Ren will dance with Alan Bersten, ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ star John Schneider is on board with professional Emma Slater, and singing superstar Tinashe will be hoping to waltz her way to lifting the glitterball trophy with Brandon Armstrong.
Other stars announced for the upcoming season include radio star Bobby Bones, ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ star Grocery Store Joe, gymnast Mary Lou Retton, NFL star DeMarcus Ware, ‘Fuller House’ star Juan Pablo di Pace, comedian Nikki Glaser, and Paralympic alpine skier Danelle Umstead.
The all-new line up reveal comes after ‘Good Morning America’ announced two of the pairings on Tuesday’s (11.09.18) show: Disney Channel star Milo Manheim with Witney Carson, and ‘The Facts of Life’ star Nancy McKeon with Val Chmerkovskiy.
Milo – who stars in Disney Channel movie ‘Zombies’, and is the youngest competitor this year at just 17 years old – said of his pairing with Witney: "Once we started getting going, it was nothing like I ever imagined. It’s so much more difficult than I thought it would be.
"I’ll be dancing with her and thinking I’m doing a really good job, and then I’ll look back at the video and I just look terrible."
‘Dancing with the Stars’ starts on September 24 on ABC.
