Eva Longoria wants ‘Desperate Housewives’ to return.
The 42-year-old actress portrayed Wisteria Lane vixen Gabrielle Solis for eight years from 2004 to 2012 and admits that after five years away from screens it could be time for the show to make a comeback to screens.
Asked in an interview with NewBeauty magazine if she wants to play Gabrielle again, she said: "I wish! I love that show. I miss it every single day. I miss being Gaby. I miss being on that set. I miss everything about it."
However, Eva won’t hold her breath for a revival because the ABC show’s creator Marc Cherry has previously stated that he doesn’t want to revisit the characters.
The screen beauty said: "Our creator has said many times he wouldn’t bring it back."
Eva is also sure that she and her former co-stars Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross would be too busy to do the show.
She added: "Plus, we’re all so busy. Felicity is always off doing some Emmy award-winning show. I’m busy with projects. I don’t know if it will ever happen, but I’m all for the idea!"
Eva shared some huge news with the world this week when it was revealed that she and her husband Jose ‘Pepe’ Baston are expecting their first child together, a baby boy.
