Emmerdale’s Pete Barton will fear for his safety if Cain Dingle finds out he has been harbouring Moira Dingle’s dirty secret.
The farmer worker – played by Natalie J. Robb – has been doing the dirty on Cain (Jeff Hordley) with Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), and Pete (Anthony Quinlan) is set to discover their affair which will put him in a potentially tricky position.
When asked if Pete will worry about what Cain might do to him, Anthony said: "Yeah … it’s just uncomfortable for everyone. Cain is not his family and Moira is.
"But you don’t want to get on the wrong side of Cain Dingle. And you don’t want to be harbouring any secrets for him, especially when it concerns him.
"Ultimately, I think he’s trying to play devil’s advocate."
He will try to warn Nate that "it’s not going to be good for anyone" if Cain discovers the big secret, but it will fall on deaf ears.
Pete finds out about their passionate affair when Moira leaves her phone behind when going to meet Nate, who sends her a flirty message.
He sees the message and figures out what is going on between the pair, despite not seeing any signs previously.
It comes after Moira and Nate were already caught out by Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton).
If that wasn’t enough, Moira’s son Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) will come close to finding out about their pair’s infidelity when he nearly walks in them.
