Emmerdale’s Kerry Wyatt is pregnant

Emmerdale’s Kerry Wyatt is pregnant.
The bolshie factory worker – portrayed by Laura Norton – has been trying to push her guilt to the back of her mind since she had a car bonnet bunk up with Ross Barton [Michael Parr] behind her husband Dan Spencer’s [Liam Fox] back.
But it seems she’ll have no choice but to face to music when she learns she may be carrying his baby later this week.
Laura said: "She’s gutted. It makes her realise that she’s not going to get away with placing her head in the sand and lying to Dan. Kerry actually convinces herself that this is her punishment for the bad thing that she’s done, and that she deserves it. She massively regrets what happened."
The bubbly raven head almost tells Dan about her infidelity with the handsome cabbie but decides to talk through her issues with her friend Joanie Wright (Denise Black) first.
She explained to Inside Soap magazine: "Kerry is too ashamed to share it with anyone at first. She opens up to Joanie with great trepidation, as she thinks she’ll get told off! But Joanie’s reaction is the opposite – she wants to help Kerry find a solution."
She quickly comes to the conclusion that the only way to save her relationship is by having an abortion.
Laura said: "Kerry is utterly convinced Ross must be the baby’s father, rather than Dan, so she feels as though she has no choice. It’s awful for her … This baby could be her last chance to be a proper parent. Having said that, Kerry finds it very easy to shut down her emotions. There’s this voice in her head saying, ‘I can’t be pregnant, I have to have a termination’ – there are no two ways about it."
However, her world may be turned upside down once again when she’s told she has to have a scan – and see the baby – before she can go ahead with the termination.
