Emmerdale’s Ali killed off

Emmerdale’s Ali Spencer has been killed off.
Viewers were left in shock as it was announced on Thursday night’s (26.04.18) episode that the former Dales favourite – who was played by Kelli Hollis – had died in a car crash.
Ali’s former brother-in-law Daz Spencer (Mark Jordon) received a shocking phone call informing him of Ali’s death, while he and Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) were looking after Ali and his brother Dan Spencer’s (Liam Fox) daughter Amelia.
With Dan uncontactable, Daz was forced to break the horrific news to Amelia, telling her: "I’m so sorry angel but we’ve had some bad news. It’s your mum. She’s had an accident. She was in a car and she was driving to work when she lost control and crashed into a wall."
She refused to believe the terrible news, but Daz said: "I’m so sorry they rushed her to hospital but she didn’t survive."
Dan and Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) later returned from their night out to be told of the horror smash, but he was left seething that his brother Daz had told his daughter about her mum’s death.
Kelli – well known for playing Yvonne Karib in Channel 4 sitcom ‘Shameless’ – joined the ITV soap in 2011.
But her character didn’t have much luck with transport-related incidents as she had to leave the village for Liverpool in April 2015 after discovering her son Sean Spencer (Luke Roskell) had been involved in a car crash.
She decided to stay in the north west to look after him after finding out his injuries were serious, but just months she returned to Yorkshire after her girlfriend Ruby Haswell (Alicya Eyo) was killed in a helicopter crash.
Ruby perished in Dan and Kerry’s arms after a chopper smashed into the village hall, resulting in several villagers being trapped.
Following the funeral, Ali moved to Liverpool with her sister Rachel Breckle (Gemma Oaten).
