Liam Fox and Joanna Hudson have got married.
The ‘Emmerdale’ actor – who plays Dan Spencer in the ITV soap – and his significant other tied the knot at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire surrounded by their family and friends, including his co-stars Lisa Riley (Mandy Dingle) and Fiona Wade (Priya Sharma).
Joanna revealed Liam got emotional during the ceremony.
She told OK! magazine: "He was looking at me crying so I was trying so hard to hold back the tears too."
And the happy couple made sure they were the last two on the dance floor in the early hours.
Liam said: "It was everything I’d hoped for an more, so I’m chuffed.
"Me and JoJo were the last ones on the dance floor at 2.50am."
He joked the pair got a bit "carried away" with the no expense spared nuptials, but Joanna – who nearly died in 2015 after she was diagnosed with rare autoimmune disease myasthenia gravis – admitted she "didn’t care" how much they spent on their wedding.
She said: "After nearly dying, I didn’t care about the expense."
The couple became friends after meeting at university 27 years ago, and Liam later married ‘Hollyoaks’ star Nicole Barber-Lane (Myra McQueen), but the pair went their separate ways in 2015 after 16 years of marriage.
Liam and Joanna got engaged in April last year.
He took to Twitter at the time to share a selfie with Jo, who was showing off her sparkling band, and wrote: "She only went and said yes…"
Several of Liam’s ‘Emmerdale’ co-stars rushed to congratulate the happy couple, including Gaynor Faye (Megan Macey).
She wrote: "Awwwww Congratulations – how lovely (sic)"
Sandra Marvin (Jessie Grant) shared: "Omg!! Huge congratulations to you both! Amazing news (sic)"
Jay Kontzle (Billy Fletcher) tweeted: "Congratulations!!! (sic)"
Liam also shared a picture of himself and his fiancée in Paris, standing in front of the iconic Arc de Triomphe.
He tweeted: "mon plus grand triomphe @missjohud (sic)"
