‘Emmerdale’ actor Adam Thomas has got engaged.
The 28-year-old hunk is set to wed his childhood sweetheart Caroline Daly, with whom he has 21-month-old son Teddy, in the near future after he recently popped the question.
The actor had initially hoped to ask the dance teacher to be his wife two years ago but she got pregnant and he decided to wait until the toddler was old enough to be ring bearer during the nuptials, according to The Sun newspaper.
A date for the wedding is yet to be revealed, along with the venue, but the loved-up couple are likely to get hitched surrounded by their friends, family and Adam’s co-stars.
The star is known for portraying Adam Barton in ‘Emmerdale’, his twin brother Scott is currently a contestant on ‘Love Island’, while their older sibling Ryan recently quit his role as Jason Grimshaw in ‘Coronation Street’.
Meanwhile, Adam has nothing but praise for his future wife and gushed last year that he was in awe of her after she gav birth to their little one.
He said previously: "I’ve put her on a massive pedestal now. I thought I knew what love was and then this happens and I can’t describe it. It’s total madness."
And he admitted becoming an "adult" was "weird" but he is happier with more responsibility in his life.
