Emma Atkins doesn’t think she can have any more children.
The ‘Emmerdale’ star, who has just returned to the soap from maternity leave, is desperate to have another baby following the birth of her first child Albert 12 months ago but is concerned her age will prevent her from falling pregnant.
Asked if she wants to have another child, she told Star magazine: "Yes but I may not be able to get pregnant. I’ll be 41 soon, so you can never take it for granted."
But, for the time being, the blonde beauty – who is known for playing bad girl Charity Dingle in the soap – has her hands full with little Albert, whom she has with her boyfriend Tom.
She said: "It’s been physical! He was 9lb 3oz when he was born. People kept saying, ‘He’s a big baby!’ but he was just perfect ot me. I miss him [when I’m at work] but I see him at the end of the day and can’t wait to hug the bones off him."
Meanwhile, Emma has admitted she’s determined to shed a bit of her baby weight now she’s back on the popular show.
She added: "I wanted to look great [when I returned to the programme] but I haven’t done anything since Albert’s birth. I’m going to start doing a bit of exercise to give me more agility."
