Emily MacDonagh to fill in for Dr Hilary on Lorraine

Peter Andre’s wife Emily MacDonagh is to fill in for Dr Hilary Jones on ‘Lorraine’ on Thursday (01.02.18).
The 28-year-old beauty – who has been married to Peter since 2015 – is a qualified doctor, and is set to step in for the TV veteran, who has a regular slot on the popular ITV programme.
Emily – who has daughter Amelia, four, and 14-month-old son Theo with Peter – said in a message to viewers: "I’m really happy that Lorraine has asked me back to fill in for Dr Hilary and I can talk all things medical with you."
Emily’s appearance on the show will mark her first since she was given her solo debut interview last September.
But she has been back in work for a year, following her most-recent pregnancy, and Peter recently admitted he is relishing his responsibilities as a house husband.
He said: "When Emily goes off to work, she’ll come home and I’ll have a home-cooked meal on the go, Theo in the sling and Millie next to me."
Meanwhile, despite holding a highly pressurised job, Emily still gets asked to show ID when she buys goods in her local convenience store.
Peter revealed that his youthful-looking wife cannot buy painkillers over the counter from her local shop without being asked to prove her age.
Speaking in 2017, the ‘Mysterious Girl’ hitmaker said: "Last year she went to the Co-op and got asked for ID when buying paracetamol. You have to be 18 to buy it there."
