Ellie Goulding records song for Bridget Jones’s Baby

Ellie Goulding has recorded a song for ‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’.
The 29-year-old pop superstar is to release new single ‘Still Falling For You’ on Friday (19.08.16), which will feature on the soundtrack for the film starring Renée Zellweger, who is returning as the titular character for a third outing.
Ellie shared a short clip of the track on her Twitter and has reportedly already filmed a music video for the song, which features scenes from the film.
The ‘On My Mind’ hitmaker has plenty of experience of making music for films having previously released the smash hit, ‘Love Me Like You Do’, for ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ last year, and her song ‘Beating Heart’ was used in 2014’s ‘Divergence’.
The blonde beauty follows in the footsteps of fellow musician Ed Sheeran, who has a cameo role in the eagerly-anticipated chick flick.
The ‘Thinking Out Loud’ singer confirmed his role back in November after shooting scenes with Renée.
It is not yet known if Ed is playing himself or a fictional character but he has promised fans they are "gonna love" the movie.
At the time, he tweeted: "Spent the day being an actor in the new ‘Bridget Jones’ movie. Loved it, you’re gonna love it too… (sic)"
Meanwhile, Ellie’s new single will no doubt come as a surprise to fans as she had planned on taking a break from recording and touring.
Earlier this year, she said: "I’m still going to be writing, but it’s been so overwhelming the past few years that it’s time to go away for a little bit and be out of the limelight.
"It’s really a commitment, being on the road; you almost put everything on hold – seeing family, seeing friends. I’ve missed so many weddings and births.
"It will be nice to wake up and know I don’t have anything to do."
