Elle Mulvaney hoping for a Mini Christmas

Elle Mulvaney is hoping to receive a Mini this Christmas.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who plays Amy Barlow on the ITV soap – is currently learning to drive, so she would absolutely love to be gifted a car for Christmas.
She said: "I’m learning to drive so I’m hoping I’ll be on the road [for Christmas].
"I’ve always wanted a Mini. That is the dream."
While the 17-year-old actress and her family tend to go out or on holiday for Christmas, this year they are staying at home and her mum is "braving it" in the kitchen.
She added to Inside Soap magazine: "My mum is doing Christmas dinner. Normally we go on holiday, or go to a restaurant, as I don’t think anyone really wants the stress of cooking 100 Yorkshire puddings.
"But this year she is braving it."
Elle also enjoys spending time with her on-screen mother and father Kate Ford (Tracy Barlow) and Simon Gregson (Steve McDonald), and admitted they both make her laugh a lot.
She joked: "Well, honestly, it’s like working with people my age sometimes.
"They’re both so funny."
But she was left shocked recently when she discovered her on-screen grandmother Beverley Callard (Liz McDonald) was leaving the cobbles – and she only found out when she switched on her TV and saw Bev confirming details of her departure on lunchtime show ‘Loose Women’.
She said: "I love Bev. I didn’t know she was leaving until I saw it on ‘Loose Women’, and when I saw her I was like, ‘But what about us? Are you coming back?’ As I genuinely love her."
