Eleanor Tomlinson’s Poldark heartbreak

Eleanor Tomlinson is heartbroken that ‘Poldark’ is coming to an end.
The 27-year-old actress has established a close relationship with co-star Aidan Turner – who plays her husband Ross Poldark in the BBC drama – and she is devastated that they won’t be working together anymore once series five ends.
She told the Daily Mirror: "I love Aidan. He has been a huge part of my life. A great friend.
"We have a very fun relationship, are fiery with each other – staying true to our characters – and I will really miss working alongside him."
Aidan, 36, also admitted that he feels nostalgic when he looks back on old clips of the show, which first aired in 2015, especially when he sees old footage of Eleanor, who plays Demelza.
He said: "Eleanor was singing in the parlour and we all look so young. It is when I reflect on moments like those that all the emotions come in."
Meanwhile, Debbie Horsfield, who wrote the fourth series, previously revealed the upcoming season will be based between 1800 and 1810, which takes place in between Winston Graham’s seventh novel, ‘The Angry Tide’ – on which series four was based – and his eighth novel, ‘The Stranger from the Sea’.
She said: "In ‘The Stranger from the Sea’ Winston Graham made many references to developments that happened in the ‘gap’ years. Much can also be inferred.
"There are, of course, also historical events and people of the time, both in Cornwall and in London.
"Series five will draw on all of these to follow the lives of the Poldarks, George Warleggan, the Enyses, and the Carnes in this intervening period."
As well as Aidan and Eleanor, Jack Farthing is back as George Warleggan, and several other stars, Luke Norris (Dr Dwight Enys), Gabriella Wilde (Caroline Enys), Ellise Chappell (Morwenna Carne), Harry Richardson (Drake Carne), Tom York (Sam Carne), and Beatie Edney (Prudie), will also return.
What’s more, several stars have joined the cast for the upcoming series, including Lily Dodsworth Evans, Kerri McLean, Sofia Oxenham, Vincent Regan, Peter Sullivan, and Freddie Wise.
