Ed Sheeran donates gold album disc to cafe

Ed Sheeran has donated his gold album disc to a cafe.

The ‘Thinking Out Loud’ hitmaker has shown his love for the coffee shop in his hometown of Framlingham, in Suffolk, by donating the plaque marking one million sales of his latest album ‘X’.

The cafe – called The Dancing Goat – has given the framed gold album disc pride of place on its wall and tweeted the 23-year-old singer to thank him for the kind gesture.

They wrote: "Thankyou Ed! @edsheeran, We love you, big kisses from all at the @dancinggoatfram."

The Brit Award-winner has previously made it clear he is a huge fan of the eatery, which already had a signed copy of his debut album ‘+’ on their wall.

He even has a tattoo in tribute to the Dancing Goat, which is owned by his close friends.

Despite his globetrotting lifestyle, the star has remained particularly fond of his hometown and recently spent £895,000 on a six-bedroom house close to the area, complete with its own stables, game room, vegetable patch and wine cellar.
