EastEnders’ Max Branning to cause ‘havoc’

EastEnders’ Max Branning is set to wreak "havoc" for Ian Beale once he’s finally released from prison this month.
The handsome businessman – portrayed by Jake Wood – was wrongly thrown behind bars last year for the murder of Lucy Beale (Hetti Bywater) but he’ll soon be set free after the blonde bombshell’s half-brother Bobby Beale (Eliot Carrington) recently confessed to her brutal killing.
But now the flame-haired car sales man is looking to seek revenge after Ian (Adam Woodyatt) set him up to protect the schoolboy going down for his horrific crime.
Jake explained: "Hopefully Max will get out and cause some havoc. Hopefully he’ll come out of jail looking for revenge. I’d like to see him go after Ian for setting him up."
But it seems the bolshie restaurant owner is set to be dished his own consequences for being the protective parent as he may be punished for perverting the course of justice.
However, Adam – who has portrayed the role of Ian since 1985 – wouldn’t mind seeing his alter-ego locked up.
He told Inside Soap magazine: "We could always build a prison set. As long as the bed is comfy, I wouldn’t mind."
