Eamonn Holmes serenaded Ruth Langsford on ‘This Morning’ on Friday (26.06.20) in celebration of their wedding anniversary.
The 60-year-old TV star sang along to Slim Whitman’s song ‘Happy Anniversary’ at the start of the show in recognition of their tenth wedding anniversary.
Eamonn specifically directed the words "Another year of love has gone by" to Ruth, 60.
And he subsequently presented his co-host with a hamper of gifts, saying they’re supposed to "mark ten years of marriage with tin".
Inside the hamper, Ruth – who married Eamonn on June 26, 2010 – found tins of gin and tonic, as well as tomato soup, a tin of biscuits, and a tin of coffee, among other items.
Earlier this year, meanwhile, Eamonn claimed Ruth "makes a point of deliberately disagreeing" with him on TV.
The veteran presenter heaped praise on his wife, describing his ‘This Morning’ co-host as a "strong individual".
Speaking on Instagram Live, Eamonn – who has been accused of frequently interrupting his wife on TV – shared: "Despite what people say, Ruth is never a victim, never a pushover – never anything.
"She is a strong individual and we have a good healthy relationship."
Eamonn subsequently claimed that his wife loves to disagree with him on all sorts of issues.
The TV star – who has Jack, 18, with Ruth – continued: "It’s not that we agree on everything.
"As a matter of fact, she doesn’t agree on anything that I say – I say black, she says white. She makes a point of deliberately disagreeing with me, which is very annoying."
Eamonn also explained that irrespective of any disagreements they may have, he and Ruth still love and respect each other.
He reflected: "Relationships as we all know are complex, and they are quirky at times.
"Whatever it is, it works. At the end of the day, we love each other, we respect each other."
