Ruth has admitted to being "quite excited" about celebrating her landmark birthday.
The ‘Loose Women’ star – who has an 18-year-old son called Jack with Eamonn – said: "I can’t quite believe I have reached the big 6-0 because when you are in your 20s, you think it’s really old. But actually I am quite excited about it.
"I am very happy in my life, I have got a very happy marriage, a lovely family, I love my work and my career, so everything is going really well."
Meanwhile, Ruth previously likened her relationship with Eamonn to "an oak tree".
The TV star also admitted that their love is "very deep".
Ruth – who has been married to Eamonn since 2010 – said: "He makes me feel very loved.
"Our love is very deep. We’re like an oak tree. Things flap about in the wind, we bicker, we disagree, but actually our roots are solid, we’re very together. He knows me better than I know myself sometimes."
