Eamonn Holmes’ romantic gestures

Ruth Langsford thinks Eamonn Holmes is romantic because he gets her car cleaned.
The 56-year-old presenter insists she doesn’t always need traditional gestures of love from her spouse because she appreciates the practical things much more.
She said: "Eamonn had my car cleaned. I find that romantic. It doesn’t always have to be flowers and chocolates."
But the ‘This Morning’ host is not against sweeping his wife off her feet with a grand gesture.
Ruth said: "Eamonn booked a private pod on the London Eye, with a picnic basket and a bottle of champagne.
"What they don’t tell you is that you have to be accompanied by two members of staff because people have done naughty things in the past."
Eamonn added: "I told them we didn’t need them but they said they had to stay. It was a conversation killer."
And Eamonn, also 56, appreciates the "lovely" things his wife does for him.
He told OK! magazine: "Ruth does lovely things for me every day. Sometimes I’ll be sitting watching TV and she walks in and has a lovely meal for me on a tray which I wasn’t expecting."
