Dynamo has been banned from performing his most "dangerous" tricks.
The 37-year-old magician – who returned to our screens this week with his new three-part special ‘Beyond Belief’ – revealed while the series features some of the "best magic" he’s ever created, his team wouldn’t give the green light to some of his proposed stunts.
He said: "There’s been things that I put out to my team that they wouldn’t be able to get me insurance for because they’re a bit too dangerous…
"I’m going to keep them secret and in the back of my mind for future shows potentially."
Dynamo – whose real name is Steve Frayne – has still gone above and beyond for his new show, including driving backwards along a dual carriageway while blindfolded.
He told RadioTimes.com: "I’ve always loved cars and in ‘Magician Impossible’ I did some parts where I was driving blindfolded and I looked at the comments and people had their theories on how it’s possible.
"So I wanted to revisit it and make sure that any possible explanations were kind of squashed by what I was doing.
"So in regards to whether the blind fold could be fake, well I decided to go backwards this time around so that rules that out. It was a crazy experience."
Meanwhile, the star – who suffers from Crohn’s disease and arthritis – revealed he recently tested positive for coronavirus after experiencing "severe symptoms".
Speaking on Twitter, Dynamo – who is "over the worst of it" – explained: "Because of my existing health issues, and the fact I’m on immunosuppressive therapy, I’m at high risk.
"Secondly, although I haven’t had a fever, my symptoms have been quite severe and finally, so that I was able to inform those who I’ve been in contact with so they can make their own relevant precautions.
"I’ve had my results back now and unfortunately, I have tested positive for Covid-19. This illness can effect anyone, it doesn’t discriminate and it can present itself in many different ways."
