Duncan James to do Strictly Come Dancing?

Duncan James want to take part in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in "a few years."
The Blue singer is keen to slip into skimpy crystal-embellished outfits and hit the dance floor for the ballroom and latin competition but doesn’t think he’ll be able to do it just yet because he’s still recovering from his back injury that left him paralysed down one side.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I’d love to do ‘Strictly…’ but unfortunately I suffered with a very bad back last year. Maybe in a few more years?"
However, the 39-year-old hunk has a busy year or so coming up as he’s filming his final scenes for ‘Hollyoaks’, in which he plays murderer Ryan Knight, has pantomime over the festive season and will go on tour with his band alongside Steps next year.
The four piece are gearing up to perform an intimate gig at Camden’s Proud on December 11 but it will be slightly different from anything they’ve done before as they’ve agreed to temporarily change their name to Green as part of a new npower campaign.
Duncan said: "We are delighted to be making our debut as ‘Green’ and doing a special gig with npower to support the Go Green tariff.
"We know our fans will ‘all rise’ to the challenge and ‘breathe easy’ this winter knowing their energy needs are taken care of."
Blue has teamed up with the energy provider to show consumers that going green doesn’t have to be as awkward as seen in their cringe-inducing mockumentary, in which Lee, Duncan, Antony and Simon take on a new brand identity guided by their eager yet confused new manager who takes ‘going green’ a little too far.
