Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s bespoke buggy

Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had a bespoke buggy made for their children.
The royal couple – who are parents to Prince George, two, and 13-month-old Princess Charlotte – wanted to purchase a three-wheeled double stroller when Duchess Catherine was pregnant with Charlotte.
However, the Nipper buggy by Out’n’About was not available in their preferred colour of navy, so the British manufacturers created one especially for them.
They received the request from Catherine’s mother Carole Middleton.
Marie David, the sales and marketing manager of the company, said: "We received an internet order for a raincover from Carole Middleton. However, some of the details weren’t correct, so we got in contact with Carole to confirm what she needed."
Carole loved the all-terrain buggy and told Marie that Catherine – who was known as Kate Middleton before her 2011 nuptials – and Prince William liked one of the older colours, navy.
However, it was only available in vibrant colours such as red, blue, purple, green.
The manager said they told Carole that they had no navy buggies left and that they would try and see if they had any fabrics left and build her up a new one, with all the new, updated features.
The buggy features a matching carrycot, an ultra-lightweight aluminium chassis, 360-degree swivel front wheel, rear wheel suspension, pneumatic tyres, hinged, padded bumper bar, shopping pouch and retractable sun canopy.
Marie also revealed that the couple paid for it and that they won’t be making it navy for anybody else.
