Duchess of Sussex ‘took out trash’

The Duchess of Sussex’s first job was "taking out trash".
The former actress was just 14 when she started on the employment ladder and though she didn’t have a very glamorous occupation, she thinks it instilled good values in her.
Speaking to students at the all-female Macarthur Girls High in Sydney, Australia, she said: "My first job when I was 14, I remember taking out the trash, all sorts. It give you a good work ethic, right?"
Meghan, 37, felt a connection with the teenagers at the school because the former ‘Suits’ star – who is expecting her first child with husband Prince Harry – also went to a single-sex high and she praised the group for the work they are doing through the ‘"In League in Harmony Youth Advocate’ scheme, which aims to unite and inspire young people to be advocates for cohesion and inclusion in their communities.
She said: "You guys all remind me so much of myself when I was growing up.
"I went to an all girls school which was incredibly diverse as well. I think being around such empowered young women, it becomes something that you all just grasp onto to understand your world. It’s made you confident, well-spoken.
"You have an intention set to really do something to change the world, and you have to keep it up.
"It makes me so emotional. You’re doing really, really good work and I’m so happy that we’re here. We give you our full support."
Harry, 33, also addressed the group about the strength or women and told them men also needed to push for changes.
He said: "Men can help as well by getting involved, we have to."
The prince also climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge on Friday (19.10.18) to view the raising of the Australian flag to officially open this year’s Invictus Games, but his wife stayed on the ground.
