Drama teacher Orlando Bloom

Orlando Bloom is to hold drama lessons for 11-year-olds.
The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star will host a series of workshops at Cheadle Hulme High School in Manchester, north England where he will teach pupils how to develop their speaking voice and improve their self-confidence.
A teacher said: "The female staff will be rushing into work that day. It’s not every day you get a Hollywood hunk in the classroom as a teacher."
Whilst a spokesperson for the school added to the Daily Star newspaper: "Teaching these skills will get students interested in acting, a profession in which state school-kids are now hugely underrepresented."
Orlando and actor Paapa Essiedu will attend the launch and will teach the children the ‘Cicero curriculum’, which was created by voice coach and Orlando’s former teacher Patsy Rodenburg.
A spokesperson from the Laurus Trust – a multi-academy trust established by Cheadle Hulme High School – shared: "The thinking is that teaching these skills will not only get students interested in acting – a profession in which state school kids are now hugely under-represented – but also boost their confidence and social ability in a way that will make all the difference when it comes to Oxbridge interviews, competition for top jobs, interviews and impressing in the workplace."
And it’s not only the children Orlando will be teaching as his girlfriend Katy Perry previously confessed she has learned a lot from him.
She explained: "He was a previous award recipient last year, so he knows it better than I. And he’s been a UNICEF ambassador for over 10 years and I’ve only been a few years so he’s kind of shown me some of the ropes. Everyone is a teacher in a relationship, that’s how I see it now. We’ve taught each other a lot."
