Drake was born in 1986 and raised in Toronto, Canada.
Despite his first gig being as an actor starring in teen drama ‘Degrassi: The Next Generation’ as Jimmy Brooks when he was just 15, he grew up in a musical family with his father Dennis Graham working as a drummer alongside country musician Jerry Lee Lewis.
So music was always going to be a big part of his life whether he liked it or not.
But who knew 15 years later he would win a record-breaking 13 prizes at the Billboard Music Awards.
