‘Love Island’s Dom Lever doesn’t want to leave Jess Shears "heartbroken" if she is waiting for him on the outside.
The 26-year-old was devastated when he found out Jess – who he had grown close to in the villa – could have slept with Mike Thalassitis when she was kicked off the show but has hinted he plans on staying celibate for the rest of the time until he can talk to Jess.
Newcomer Shannen said: "Do you think you’re believing what you want to believe? The only reason that people that believe [Jess and Mike] now that she didn’t really say much and he didn’t say much."
Whilst Ellisha-Jade added: "Some of the parts of the stories are varied. He said she never went to his room, then she said she went to wake him up because he wouldn’t wake up or something."
But Dom told them: "If it hasn’t happened, it hasn’t happened, but I’d rather be true to myself than stay in here and get with someone in here, come out and she’d be heartbroken."
However, new contestant Ellisha-Jade isn’t convinced Dom would have stayed in the villa if he wasn’t interested in another romance.
Speaking in the Beach Hut later, Ellisha-Jade admitted: "I know he wants to be the good guy, but I also think he wouldn’t still be here if he wasn’t a bit interested."
However, Jessica has denied sleeping with Mike.
She said: "Sex with Dom was mind-blowing, I would never cheat on him …
"After leaving the show we [Mike and I] were in separate rooms in a villa with our chaperones before being fl own back to the UK. Nothing happened then …
"That evening I was actually trying to set him up with my best friend, Joanna. Mike had three of his mates there and the five of us went out to a club to let off some steam … The five of us got in a cab but nowhere decent was open so we went back to the hotel I was sharing with Joanna to order room service … When Mike left, he left with all his mates, we were never alone in the hotel room together."
