‘Doctor Who’ fans will now be able to make their own themed Build-A-Bear.
BBC Studios and Build-A-Bear Workshop have teamed up to launch a ‘Doctor Who’ range, which features a bear and accessories inspired by the long-running sci-fi series.
The ‘Doctor Who’ bear’s look can be completed with a range of outfits from past Time Lords, including the striped top and braces worn by current Thirteenth Doctor Jodie Whittaker, or the suit, trousers, glasses and trainers worn by the Tenth Doctor, David Tennant.
The bear features branded blue paw pads and a blue heart on its chest while each furry friend will arrive with a sonic screwdriver in its own TARDIS gift box.
The new range is available in the UK and can be bought exclusively online at: buildabear.co.uk. The range will be launching in the US later this month.
The ‘Doctor Who’ bear is available online now for £21.50, with outfits and accessories starting at £8.
The bears are not the only treat for ‘Doctor Who’ fans as it was recently confirmed that a lost story ‘The Faceless Ones’ has been resurrected as an animation.
The adventure is the mostly missing eighth serial of the fourth season of the classic sci-fi show, starring Patrick Troughton as the Second Doctor originally broadcast on a weekly basis from April to May 1967.
The story concerns a sinister race of identity-stealing aliens known as the Chameleons who the Doctor must find a way to defeat along with his TARDIS companions Polly (Anneke Wills), Ben Jackson (Michael Craze) and Jamie McCrimmon (Frazer Hines).
