DJ Khaled has sent his "love" to Demi Lovato following her suspected overdose.
The 25-year-old singer was taken to hospital last week after she allegedly took a mystery substance and was found unconscious in her home, and now her tour mate and collaborator DJ Khaled has sent a message of support to her, wishing her a speedy recovery.
Speaking to TMZ, the ‘Wild Thoughts’ hitmaker said: "I love Demi. And Demi’s going to be great, I heard she’s getting better. Demi Lovato, we love you, and love is the most powerful thing in the world. So I hope she sees this. I love you, and all your fans love you. She’s going to get better, because God is great, God is the greatest."
DJ Khaled, 42, isn’t the only celebrity to have spoken about the ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ hitmaker’s recovery either, as her close pal and actress Ruby Rose tweeted her support for the star shortly after the news of her hospitalisation broke.
She wrote: "My whole heart and my whole soul is with @ddlovato today. I adore you and so does the entire world. You will fight this and you will come out of it even stronger. Addiction is powerful beyond measure, but you can defeat it. I love you. (sic)."
And musician Kehlani, who also toured with Demi and DJ Khaled recently, sent the singer "huge recovery love".
She wrote on social media: "sending huge recovery love to Demi. this is a very personal moment and respected delicately. all we can do is send our best wishes and love. addiction isn’t simple nor easy. you’re very loved, @ddlovato you’ll beat this as you did before. (sic)"
Demi had previously been sober for six years after battling with alcohol and drug addictions in the past, but revealed in June through new track ‘Sober’ that she had relapsed.
The star is expected to head straight to rehab when she is discharged from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where she is currently still being treated.
