BTS have partnered with Disney+ to bring fans the ‘BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star’ docu-series.
Across eight episodes, viewers can expect “an in-depth journey across the band’s 10-year career, highlighting their highs and lows.”
The fly-on-the-wall style series also includes the septet’s “never-before-seen interviews, performances and behind-the-scenes moments.”
The South Korean septet – comprising Jung Jook, RM, Suga, Jin, J-Hope, V, and Jimin – go right back to their formation and beyond and with “highly personal moments” teased.
A press release reads: “The upcoming docuseries also shines a spotlight on highly personal moments from their past, including how they felt about meeting each other for the first time; their initial contract renewal process; the difficulties of isolating during COVID.”
‘BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star’ will premiere December 20 on Disney+ with the first two episodes dropping, before two new episodes are released every Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Jung Kook recently teased that the “synergy of BTS in 2025” will be “incredible”.
The K-pop boy band have been on a break since last summer due to the band members focusing on solo projects and some carrying out mandatory military service.
And Jung Kook – who released his debut solo album, ‘Golden’, on November 3 – admitted he is missing his bandmates and is excited about their reunion.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, he said: “We were always together for so many years that I felt the void of them not being next to me. You know, I miss them… I think the synergy of BTS in 2025 will be incredible.”
