Denise Welch returning to Loose Women

Denise Welch is to return to the ‘Loose Women’ panel tomorrow (07.06.18) for the first time in five years.
The former ‘Waterloo Road’ actress will be a guest panellist alongside Kaye Adams, Nadia Sawalha and Stacey Solomon, and the star is looking forward to indulging in plenty of "banter" on the programme.
She said: "I can’t wait to be back on Loose Women. I’ve missed the ladies, I’ve missed the chat and I’ve missed the banter.
"I’m looking forward to sharing what I’ve been up to."
‘Loose Women’ announced the news of Denise’s return in a specially recorded ITV bulletin, which interrupted today’s (06.06.18) show.
Show anchor Ruth Langsford told viewers: "I’m just hearing there is some important, breaking showbiz news. We’re crossing now to Charlene White in the ITV newsroom."
Charlene then said: "Tomorrow’s episode of ‘Loose Women’ will feature the return of a loose legend as Denise Welch makes her explosive comeback to the show.
"Sources say she will be joining the panel for some fun and feisty conversation.
"It’s a show that’s not to be missed."
Denise said: "I’m very excited. It’s been five years since I’ve sat on that panel, and a lot has certainly happen in the world and in my life.
"So I can’t wait to let the girls know what I’ve been up to and how things have changed for them. I’m very excited."
Denise has appeared on more than 500 episodes of the ITV lunch time talk show, and ‘Loose Women’ editor Sally Shelford "can’t wait" to hear the former ‘Coronation Street’ star’s "feisty opinions".
She said: "Denise has always been a much-loved member of the Loose Women family and played an important part in the show’s 19 year history.
"It’s fitting that as we’ve just celebrated 3,000 episodes, we welcome back one of Loose Women’s most memorable faces.
"We can’t wait to have her back on the panel for some of her trademark fun and feisty opinions."
