David Walliams doesn’t want viewers to get sick of him

David Walliams wants to quit ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ before people get sick of him.

The ‘Big School’ star has confessed that although he loves his role as a judge on the ITV talent show, he doesn’t want to carry on doing it forever as he doesn’t want to become boring to viewers.

Quizzed on whether he would be returning, despite his two-year contract running out at the end of the last series, he told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I haven’t decided yet. I’d like to do it if I can but we’re still trying to work it out.

"It’s a brilliant show to be a part of and it’s really fun. But you don’t want to do it forever."

The 43-year-old comedian – who has 16-month-old son Alfred with supermodel wife Lara Stone – added: "There’s a point where people get sick of people. You want to jump out and stop before that moment. But it’s difficult to know when that is."

Meanwhile, Alesha Dixon – who has appeared on the judging panel alongside David, Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden for the past two series – has revealed she’d love to return at the same time as continuing her music career.

She said previously: "If I had it my way, I’d be back. But it’s up to Simon, so we’ll see.

"There’s no point being a judge on a show when I’m not doing the thing that got me to that position."

It is so far unknown as to whether Simon and Amanda will be returning either.
