While the American beauty failed to make it through to the next stage of the competition tonight (19.10.19), the 67-year-old talent manager decided to take through former ‘TOWIE’ star Megan McKenna, Love Actually’s Olivia Olson – who was known for playing Joanna in the romantic comedy – Glee’s Kevin McHale and former ‘EastEnders’ hunk Jonny Labey to the Live Shows.
Simon Cowell – who is mentoring the Groups – equally found himself in a difficult position when he was forced to send home Cole & Edwards – comprised of Brendan Cole and Jeremy Edwards – after they failed to impress the audience.
He did, however, decide to take through Latin group V5 – made up of Sofia Oliveira, Alondra Martinez, Laura Buitrago, Natalie Valerin and Wendii.
Try Star – comprised of Thom Evans, Ben Foden and Levi Davis – will also be performing during the Live Shows, as will YouTube sensations Max and Harvey and Love Island’s Zara McDermott, Wes Nelson, Samira Mighty and Eyal Booker.
Nicole Scherzinger was faced with a tough job when she sent The Chase’s Jenny Ryan – who got a standing ovation after her powerful audition – home.
The former Pussycat Doll decided to take Victoria Ekanoye, Ricki Lake and Martin Bashir through to the next week’s Live Show with her.
Vinnie Jones was lined up to audition on the show, but was forced to pull out after his wife Tanya passed away. However, Simon later decided to put him straight through to the Lives, where he’ll compete in the Overs category, and promised him he’ll get all the support and guidance he needs to perfect his performance.
‘The X Factor: Celebrity’ will return next Saturday (26.10.19) at 8pm.
