David Baddiel and Frank Skinner want to bring back their talk show.
The comedy duo haven’t worked on ‘Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned’ for 12 years, since the final series aired online in 2005, but they would love to reprise the show again.
The unscripted show saw the pair answer random questions from their audience, and even though David, 52, admits the format could be "frightening", he and Frank, 60, loved the unpredictability of it all.
He said: "The great thing about it was, even though it was very frightening, there was little work involved.
"We just turned up and just did it. And I loved the fact you could go anywhere with it.
"The first two series were live, the last three were edited. We could do it online or on cable.
"Me and Frank have talked about it. It would be a laugh. He lives on my road, it’s great."
The only unofficial rule of the show was there were no questions about football as the duo were keen not to draw comparisons to their famous previous show, ‘Fantasy Football League’.
Meanwhile, after the ‘Great British Bake Off’ moved to Channel 4 and hosts Mel and Sue quit, David and Frank were among the names rumoured to be considered for the presenting roles, which ultimately went to Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig.
However, David insists he would have had no interest in fronting the popular culinary competition as it is a "poisoned chalice".
He told The Sun newspaper: "I would have said no to ‘Bake Off’.
"Good luck to Noel, but I think ‘Bake Off’ is something of a poisoned chalice."
