Dave Bautista hints he’ll be in Blade Runner 2

Dave Bautista has hinted he is to star in ‘Blade Runner 2’.
The 47-year-actor took sparked a social media frenzy on his Instagram account by posting an image of himself holding a small origami unicorn.
Origami is used extensively throughout the original ‘Blade Runner’ movie and in the final scene Harrison Ford’s character Rick Deckard is seen holding an origami unicorn which was inserted by director Sir Ridley Scott to indicate Deckard is a replicant android.
Alongside the black and white photo, ‘Spectre’ star Bautista wrote: "I can’t wait to share some really exciting news…"
The plot for the sequel is being kept under wraps, but it is believed to be set several decades after Scott’s 1982 film, which depicted a dystopian Los Angeles in which replicants are used for dangerous work in Earth’s colonies in outer space.
Replicants who returned to Earth were hunted down by special police operatives known as Blade Runners, with Ford portraying weary agent Deckard, who takes on one last assignment.
Denis Villeneuve will direct the movie based on a screenplay by the original film’s co-writer Hampton Fancher who has penned the script with ‘Green Lantern’ co-writer Michael Green.
Scott is on board as an executive producer.
Speaking previously about the script and Ford’s involvement, Scott said: "It’s written and it’s damn good. Of course it involves Harrison, who is a survivor after all these years. So yes, that will happen."
The film is scheduled to start shooting in July 2016 for a release date of January 2018.
