Danny Miller casts former Emmerdale co-star in his new short film

Danny Miller has cast his former ‘Emmerdale’ co-star Joe Gill in his new film.
Joe, who played Finn Barton on the ITV soap between 2013 and 2017, confirmed his involvement in the project by posting a picture of the script on his Instagram Stories.
Danny – who plays Aaron Dingle in ‘Emmerdale’ – is working alongside best friend and fellow actor Daniel Jillings on the film.
The movie is titled ‘Pace’ and is based on true events, and the pair have written and directed the feature.
Danny – who is up for the Serial Drama Performance accolade at this year’s National Television Awards – recently tweeted: "Directing my first short end of the month and no place like Twitter to update, tease but above all, bore everyone with updates.
"Our lead has just confirmed and my Gosh I’m flawed they said yes. Experienced, northern, lovely and most importantly… BLOODY GOOD! (sic)"
Daniel, 37, also took to social media to confirm the script for the film was finished.
He tweeted: "And that is that! Script complete. INCREDIBLE cast confirmed. Productions days scheduled. LET’S DO THIS! (sic)"
There is no confirmed date for the release of the short film, although production dates are in the last week of January.
Joe, 25, made a dramatic exit from the Dales when Finn was killed by his mother Emma – who was played by Gillian Kearney – when she accidentally shot him dead.
