Danny Mac is getting married in August

Danny Mac and Carley Stenson are set to get married in August.
The former ‘Hollyoaks’ actor has been engaged to fellow former soap actress Carley, 34, since March 2016 and has been planning their nuptials since before he competed on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ last year but, after a busy few months career-wise, they have finally set a date for their big day and will wed in two months’ time.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ on Friday (26.05.17), Danny, 29, said: "I get married in August, so we can’t wait for that.
"Carley is currently rehearsing for ‘Les Miserables’ at the moment and she’s the happiest I’ve ever seen her. But bless her, we’ve been planning the wedding since the beginning of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and she’s done all the work. We’ve just got all the logistics to sort now."
However, it’s not just Carley who has a busy few months as Danny is currently starring in the stage show ‘On The Town’ at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, which is a stage adaptation of the Gene Kelly hit movie of the same name.
Prior to competing on the BBC dancing show last year, in which he lost to sports presenter Ore Oduba, Danny portrayed hunk Dodger in the Channel 4 soap.
The heartthrob met Carley on the show, in which she played Steph Cunningham, but she left in 2011 after her alter ego died of cancer. Danny then quit the show in 2015.
