Danny Jones was "a mess" when Jessie J brought boyfriend Channing Tatum to ‘The Voice Kids’ studios.
The McFly star, who is a coach on the ITV spin-off of the adult version of the swinging-chair talent show alongside the ‘Price Tag’ hitmaker, Pixie Lott and will.i.am, admitted he freaked out and went into fanboy mode when he met the ‘Magic Mike’ actor – who started dating Jessie last year.
Asked if he hangs out with his fellow coaches, he told The Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous magazine: "Me and Pixie do. Will’s flying off here and there and so’s Jessie. She brought Channing Tatum down to filming and I was just a mess! It was sick chatting to him."
The 31-year-old pop star herself recently gushed over the 39-year-old hunk.
The ‘Bang Bang’ hitmaker wishes she could tell her younger self she’d date Channing one day to boost her self-confidence.
Asked what she’d tell her younger self, she said: "The first thing that comes to mind is ‘You’re enough.’ I’d say, ‘Be yourself, and don’t be afraid to say how you feel.’
"I’d also say, ‘Cut down on the blusher babes. And take a breath… You’re going to get with Channing Tatum in 10 years so keep going!"
Meanwhile, Danny recently hinted he could move over to the adult show if Olly Murs – who is joined by Sir Tom Jones, will and Jennifer Hudson on the panel – steps down.
He said: "I always want to keep doing the kids, obviously the adult version would be amazing but Olly [Murs] does a great job on there.
"If he steps down maybe I could take over, I love the kids but you never know it would be amazing to do what will does and cover both shows."
