Danny Dyer’s wife has claimed he is scared of ghosts.
The 42-year-old actor and his significant other Jo – who have daughters Dani, 24, and Sunni, 12, and seven-year-old son Artie – were left spooked when ghouls invaded his old home in Essex some years ago, and Jo still sees spirits.

The news comes years after Danny had his first run in with ghosts when the invited his co-star Danny-Boy Hatchard (Lee Carter) to stay over in his daughter’s bedroom, but he was so scared of noises in the night he left.
Danny recalled: "I’ve had a couple of people stay over and sleep in that room and they’ve all said there’s something strange about it … He left first thing in the morning because the room freaked him out. I asked him why and he said there was this knocking. Knock, knock, knock.
"I said it’s probably a pipe but he went ‘Nah, it weren’t a pipe’."
Soon after, his daughter Dani began hearing voices whilst sat in her room before the family decided to pack their bags and move to their new £1.5 million home.
He explained: "Dani was in there listening to music and heard someone shouting her name. Weird s**t and no mistake."
What’s more, Danny claimed he saw saw a monk walking towards him late at night when his was 14 years old.
He said: "Naturally I was too scared to ever run away – just kept walking and he went past us.
"I looked it up later and there used to be a monastery on the site."
