Danny Dyer is a "sensitive soul".
According to his daughter, Dani, the ‘EastEnders’ actor – who is known for his gritty roles in ‘The Football Factory’ and ‘Mean Machine’ – is nothing like his tough on-screen personas and often wells-up while watching girly teen movies.
She told The Sun newspaper: "He’s a really sensitive soul. He always cries at films. We watched LOL with Miley Cyrus because I wanted to put it on.
"And then he had a little cry. And I know he’s crying!"
The 18 year old – who has followed her famous father into the movie business – added that she even caught him bawling during the premiere of her debut film ‘We Still Kill the Old Way’ last month.
She said: "He was crying when the photos were being taken. He was really proud. When my name came up on the screen he burst out crying too."
The 36-year-old star also has a soft spot for animals and becomes emotional when he witnesses animal cruelty.
Dani explained: "He loves animals. If anything happens to them he finds it absolutely disgusting. He gets really upset."
