Dannii Minogue ‘best mentor’ Kylie

Dannii Minogue counts her sister Kylie Minogue as her "best mentor".
The 45-year-old singer-and-actress is grateful to her 48-year-old sibling for helping her to stay "on track" and generally being a "guiding light" in her life when she has needed advice.
She said: "My sister [Kylie] is my best mentor. She’s always been there to bounce off ideas and help me stay on track.
"It’s more of a constant guiding light rather than just one piece of advice."
Dannii – who has a six-year-old son, Ethan, with former partner Kris Smith – regularly travels between her and Kylie’s native Australia and the UK for work, so much so she feels as though the 22-hour flight is like a "regular bus ride".
She said: "I have to be super-organised. The long-haul flight from London to Melbourne feels more and more like a regular bus ride – I get the most mummy sleep time when I travel without Ethan.
"Then, I have to say I draw on super-mum strength for working with jet lag. Unfortunately, despite all the years travelling, it never gets any easier for me."
As well as being a successful singer, the brunette beauty has starred in several TV shows, including ‘Home and Away’ and as a regular performer in Australian variety programme ‘Young Talent Time’.
While Ethan is yet to feel embarrassed by the footage he has seen of his mother in the show, Dannii admits he may be in later life.
Speaking to TV Week, she added: "His grandma has shown him clips from ‘Young Talent Time’ and I don’t think he was embarrassed – it was just good, old-fashioned fun.
"Maybe as he gets a bit older, that may change."
