Danniella Westbrook feels "really strong" following a spell in rehab.
The 43-year-old actress checked into the Villa Paradiso facility in Mijas, Spain, almost a month ago and Danniella – who returned to taking cocaine after suffering a miscarriage in 2016 – has revealed she is currently feeling happy and healthy.
She said: "I’m having a great time.
"I’ve been here three and a half weeks – my head is straight, I’m not on any medication, I’m not taking any drugs and I’ve worked loads on myself.
"And loads on my past issues. All the stuff that I felt I got left with at the end of last year I’m dealing with and I feel strong, I feel really strong."
However, the mother-of-two admitted she is looking forward to being reunited with her children once her spell in rehab ends.
In a video posted by The Sun Online, the former ‘EastEnders’ star said: "I’m happy to be alone and on my own.
"I’m happy to be doing this but looking forward to seeing my kids in a few weeks and looking forward to getting back to work and all the exciting things I’ve got coming up.
"I’m in a wonderful place and I’m truly blessed again but thank you one and all for everything."
Danniella has endured a particularly troubling few months, after she split from her boyfriend George Arnold and miscarried their baby.
But her former ‘EastEnders’ co-star Patsy Palmer has voiced her support for the actress.
She recently said: "Danniella Westbrook is so sweet. We all went through our own struggles. It was intense."
As part of the rehab process, Danniella has been having one-on-one meetings with therapists, who have been talking to the star about her long-standing battle with addiction.
