Danielle Armstrong was asked to do this year’s ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star was approached by bosses of the reality TV show late last year after she announced her decision to bow out of the ITVBe series but she rejected their offer because she wanted to take some time out away from cameras.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "Obviously there was a lot of discussion but I have always before said I am not going to leave a show to go on another show. And for me, I have been in the industry for three years now, and sometimes you can get caught up, and I forgot who I was, and I just felt I needed to have a year, a good year, of doing my own thing and getting back to normality."
Although the blonde beauty isn’t interested in featuring on a show at the moment, Danielle will still be very busy as she is focusing on her fashion line and boutique.
She explained: "I have got a few things coming up, and in the pipeline. I am working on my Spring collection for my boutique and online."
Danielle’s decision to turn back on ‘TOWIE’ came just a few weeks after she struck up a relationship with Daniel Spiller because she didn’t think it would be fair to work alongside her ex-boyfriend James ‘Lockie’ Lock when she’s romancing someone else.
She said: "I’d come to the end of my ‘TOWIE’ journey. Everyone focused on Danni and Lockie and now there is no more Danni and Lockie. I haven’t got anything bad to say about him, he just wasn’t a good boyfriend. I can’t see myself moving on in my life if I’m still being around my ex-boyfriend having to film with him. I’m 28 now, in the next five years I want to settle down and meet someone and have things I wanted with James."
