Daniel Radcliffe will star as a pilot in the new film Beast of Burden

Daniel Radcliffe has been cast as a pilot in the new film ‘Beast of Burden’.
The 27-year-old actor – who is known for his role in ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ – has landed himself the role as a drug-smuggling pilot in the forthcoming action thriller, according to The Hollywood Reporter Online.
The dark-haired hunk will work alongside Swedish director Jesper Ganslandt in the upcoming movie, which will be Ganslandt’s first production in English language, whilst Adam Hoelzel will be the mastermind behind the innovative script.
The production will follow Radcliffe jet across the globe in a bid to transport narcotics across the border of Mexico and America, whilst trying to avoid the DEA and the Cartels.
Paul Schiff is set to join the team alongside Michael Diamond of MGMT Entertainment to produce the blockbuster, as well as Chad Moore and Jeff Elliott.
And it has been reported Radcliffe will start filming scenes in late November in Savannah, Georgia.
Meanwhile, Radcliffe – who made his acting debut in 2000 at the age of 11 – has admitted he loves his job so much he would be happy to die on set, whilst shooting a movie.
When asked previously about how he would like to die, he said: "On a film set, ideally. I want to ruin someone’s day. I want to have them suddenly go, ‘Dan’s just dropped dead in front of the camera; we have to get his double on’.
"If someone told me tomorrow, ‘You’re never going back on set’, I really wouldn’t know what to do with the rest of my life.
"I don’t know what my life looks like without regularly being on a film set.
"I’d go crazy. I’m one of the lucky few who loves my job."
