Dani Dyer has moved in with childhood sweetheart and "best friend" Sammy Kimmence.
The former ‘Love Island’ winner – who split from ex-boyfriend Jack Fincham just months after they won the ITV2 dating show together in 2018 – is happy with her new 23-year-old stockbroker beau, who she knew from growing up in Essex.
Appearing on Monday’s episode (21.10.19) of ITV’s ‘Loose Women’, she said: "I knew him before, but there was this massive thing where we were together and stuff. I knew of him from friends, we got together, and he’s just been really nice …
"It sounds so weird [moving in together already], but it just works. You know when you’re with someone, and he’s like my best friend."
Dani also admitted her famous father, ‘EastEnders’ actor Danny Dyer, is actually less intimidating than her mother when it comes to boyfriends meeting her parents.
She added: "You know what? He is protective, he is but I’ve got such a good friendship with him.
"They’re more like my friends than just my mum and dad … [Potential boyfriends are] probably more scared of my mum, she’s the harder one.
"My dad, I think as long as you just call him – he wants them to be friends. My dad’s not that scary, he’s not."
Dani also admitted her short-lived relationship with Jack was like a "holiday romance".
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’, she added: "I think it doesn’t work sometimes. It’s like any relationship, sometimes it does sometimes it doesn’t.
"I think when you’re on ‘Love Island’ you’re in a bubble, it’s summer, it’s like a holiday romance."
