Damien Chazelle made history at the Oscars for being the youngest person to ever win Best Director and said he was ‘floored and honoured’ just to be nominated.
The dark-haired hunk received the prize for helming ‘La La Land’ – starring Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling and John Legend – and also paid tribute to his partner Olivia Hamilton.
He said: ‘This was a movie about love, and I was lucky enough to fall in love while making it.’
