Daisy May Cooper slams Gogglebox trolls

Daisy May Cooper has hit back at trolls who slammed her appearance on ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’.

The 34-year-old actress – who is expecting her second child with husband Will Weston – shared a tweet she received from an online troll criticising the way she looked during her debut on the Channel 4 reality show on Friday (10.07.20).

Posting the tweet on Instagram, it said: "Watching Celebrity Gogglebox and Daisy May Cooper looks like a troll."

She then cut away to a video of her dancing to the song ‘Trolls Just Want To Have Fun’ from the film ‘Trolls 2’, with the caption: "Haters gonna hate, but I’m going to carry on letting my hooters swing."

Daisy – who has a daughter called Pip with her husband – announced her pregnancy on Instagram back in March by sharing a snap of her ultrasound, writing: "Thrilled to say me and @willwestonlandscape are expecting another babber."

She joined the ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’ lineup with her father Paul Cooper midway through the current series, which sees celebrities react to British TV from their own homes.

But the ‘This Country’ star fell ill after recording the show because she binged on free snacks the Channel 4 crew had put out for them.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote: "Tonight me and me pa @paul57cooper will be on CELEBRITY GOGGLEBOX!

"I ended up being sick after we filmed this as I ate too many of the free crisps provided 9PM CHANNEL 4 DON’T MISS IT! (sic)"

Her dad commented: "I was a bit hyper to be fair"
